Opportunity:
- Roche Support Network is dedicated to providing exceptional
support to customers.
- As a Field Engineering Specialist, you will travel and showcase
your expertise in technical repair and installation for Roche
assigned product lines.
- You will offer valuable service to laboratory customers in your
assigned territory.
- The role involves routine technical support, on-site service,
repair, and installation of Roche products.
- You will serve as a customer contact for technical and
service-related issues and perform preventative maintenance.
- The position requires diagnosing and resolving mechanical,
hardware, software, and system failures.
- You will document all activities, contribute to quality
improvement, and focus on maximizing customer satisfaction.This is
a field-based role that requires daily travel and up to 50%
overnight travel. Our ideal candidate would reside within 25 miles
of Detroit, MIWho You Are:
- High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or
equivalent military training or work experience are required.
- 5 years of progressive experience in repairing or servicing
mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless
networking is necessary. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in a
relevant field with 1-2 years of progressive experience will
suffice.
- Successful completion of training or certification as defined
by RD Services Leadership and policy is mandatory.
- The ability to travel, including overnight travel, is a
requirement for this role.Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of progressive experience or a Bachelor's degree in a
relevant field plus 4+ years of progressive experience are
required.
- Advanced knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems,
information technology, and basic chemistry.
- The ability to serve as an internal technical resource, provide
support after hours and on weekends/holidays, and maintain strong
customer relationships is essential.Relocation benefits are
available for this position.The expected salary range for this
position based on the primary location of Michigan is $66,200 and
$123,000. Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on
experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other
job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus
may be available based on individual and Company performance. This
