Mechanical Design Engineer

Designing Solutions to meet our customer expectations: Quality Products at a Fair Price delivered On-Time.

Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
--- Work with Application Team to develop reliable conveyor solutions
--- Develop designs using standards and best practice solutions
--- Review and revise designs to best meet customers needs
--- Determine the best components for the desired outcome to meet specifications and customer needs
--- Design with ease of manufacture in mind
--- Understand entire scope of project and communicate clearly the requirements both internal of the design as well as communication capacities and restrictions
--- Ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to
--- Ensure adherence to customer supplied specification as well as internal design standards

Education and Experience
--- 5-10 years experience mechanical design of conveyors and associated hardware
--- Knowledge of raw materials
--- 4-year Mechanical Engineering Degree (BSME or Similar)
--- Knowledge of AWS and ANSI standards
--- Strong working knowledge of machines and manufacturing processes
