TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Pontiac, Michigan, 48342 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Float/Med Surg/Step Down Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid Michigan nursing license required (LARA and Nursys verification) Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association Must-Have: - Experience in travel nursing - Acceptance of floating assignments - A skills checklist completed within one year of application Job Description: - Establish therapeutic relationships and create detailed care plans with patients and families, determining the aspects of care that are most important. - Evaluate the effectiveness of plans and interventions to promote optimal achievement of established goals. - Initiate and maintain open communication with other team members to ensure that patients and families receive comprehensive interdisciplinary expertise and services through a coordinated care plan. - Communicate with patients, families, subordinate staff, and peers to ensure that plans and associated interventions are understood, operationalized, and revised as appropriate.
