Job Description:
A company is looking for an Inpatient Review Nurse (RN/LVN) with
California licensure to join their utilization management team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform reviews of inpatients with complex medical and social
problems
Coordinate care with healthcare providers and community
resources
Monitor and document clinical criteria as per UM policy and
procedure
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Current, active, and unrestricted California Licensed Vocational
Nurse
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a managed care setting as an
inpatient case manager
Experience with concurrent review and utilizing Milliman Care
Guidelines (MCG)
Minimum of 3 years of general case management experience
Knowledge of Medicare Managed Care Plans
