Job Description:
A company is looking for a Utilization Management RN to ensure
efficient and effective delivery of health services.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct inpatient reviews for level of care and length of stay
Perform prior authorization reviews for skilled nursing facilities
and rehabilitation services
Evaluate medical appropriateness of care levels based on guidelines
and benefit determinations
Required Qualifications
Unrestricted compact RN licensure
3+ years of managed care and/or clinical experience
Basic computer skills with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
Prior-authorization experience is preferred
Experience in a skilled nursing facility or inpatient
rehabilitation facility is preferred
