Medical Assistant Ypsilanti Twp, MI (10 miles E of Ann Arbor)
Part time or Full time

We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our medical practice full time or part time in Ypsilanti Twp, MI. We are looking for a driven person to assist with medical care, as well as help promote/sell our in-office therapies and treatments. Do you understand people and love helping others? Duties:

• Assist with patient care
• Connection with patients to understand their expected goals and desired outcomes
• Assist with initial consultation on new patients to determine medical history, motivating factor that prompted patient to look for help with their problem and functional goals of the patient
• Attend Team Meeting to report on motivating factor that prompted patient to look for help with their problem and functional goals of the patient
• Provide and ensure completion of all patient paperwork
• Effectively and continually educate patients about the need for, and progress through, the care plan
• Ensure that all the patient's needs are met, nothing gets overlooked, and care is consistent with the patient's expressed desires
• Execute patient follow up calls
• Encourage, resolve concerns, and gather testimonials during care plan
• Advocate for the patient and motivate them to reach their health goals
• Assist in patient coordination and patient care plans
• Assist the patients/staff with office flow
• Collaborate with the office staff for comprehensive patient care
• Ensure efficient written and oral communication (phones, email)
• Maintain an organized office Schedule:
