Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Coding Denials Specialist -
Contractor.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze coding-related denials and rejections from
insurance payers
Prepare appeal letters to insurance companies and conduct audits of
medical records and claims
Identify trends in coding denials and ensure compliance with coding
guidelines
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor's degree
preferred
Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Professional Coder
(CPC), or equivalent certification required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical coding
Minimum of 3 years of denial management experience
Strong understanding of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
