  • Job Summary: Registered Nurse position in the Emergency Room at Sparrow Hospital, part of Sparrow Health System - MSP.
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • On Call: No
  • Weekend: Yes - 3 weekends (Fri-Sun) per 4 week schedule
  • Floating: Yes - Peds possible
  • Required Experience: Level I trauma experience REQUIRED, 2 year minimum experience PREFERRED.

    • BCLS by AHA certification required
    • PALS certification required
    • TNCC certification required
    • ENPC certification pending acceptance
    • NIH Stroke certification required for ER placements
    • 2 years minimum experience preferred
    • Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias experience required
    • EPIC charting experience preferred.
      • Schedule Information
      • RTO MUST BE SUBMITTED AT TIME OF SUBMITTAL, NO ADDITIONAL RTO WILL BE APPROVED LATER ON
      • RTO BLOCKED 3/31-4/13, 4/18-4/20
      • Weekend work required - 3 weekends (Fri-Sun) per 4 week schedule.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit accepts 1st time travelers
        • High patient ratios expected.
          • Additional Details
          • Level 1 Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center and Pediatric Emergency Department.
          • Currently experiencing high 1:5-6 ratios, could be up to 8 depending on patient influx and holidays.
          • Traveler has Level I trauma experience and agrees to work 3 weekends per 4 week schedule.
