  • Registered Nurse position in the Emergency Room (ER) at Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, Michigan.
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • On Call: No
  • Weekend: Yes - 3 weekends (Fri-Sun) per 4 week schedule
  • Floating: Yes - Peds possible
  • Level 1 Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center and Pediatric Emergency Department.
    • Job Requirements
    • State license required
    • ACLS certification required
    • BCLS by AHA certification required
    • PALS certification required
    • TNCC certification required
    • ENPC certification pending acceptance
    • NIH Stroke certification required for ER placements
    • 2 years minimum experience preferred
    • Level I trauma experience required
    • EPIC charting experience preferred
      • Schedule Information
      • MAY BE SCHEDULED BETWEEN 1P-1A AND 10A-10P
      • RTO MUST BE SUBMITTED AT TIME OF SUBMITTAL, NO ADDITIONAL RTO WILL BE APPROVED LATER ON
      • RTO BLOCKED 3/31-4/13, 4/18-4/20
      • High patient ratios of 1:5-6, could be up to 8 depending on patient influx.

        • Currently experiencing high patient ratios of 1:5-6, could be up to 8 depending on patient influx.
          • Additional Details
          • Required to start certifications must be current; if they expire during assignment, renewal proof is required.
          • Modules are NOT billable; please margin for 5 hours.
