- Sign-on bonus: $7,500.00
- Department: PET/CT Mobile Unit - Nuclear Medicine
- Schedule: FT 40 hours per week, variable day shifts, including
weekends. This position will be on the mobile unit traveling to
multiple locations in Southeast Michigan.

Perform routine and advanced positron emission tomography/computed
tomography (PET/CT) procedures for use by physicians in the
diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury.
- Screen patient before the procedure for any precautions or
contraindications pertaining to the examination. Explain and
prepares patients for PET/CT procedures that will be
performed.
- Adjust scan parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose
reduction techniques as appropriate. Perform and record daily
quality control procedures on specified equipment to ensure correct
and accurate operation.
- Maintain compassionate patient care, comfort and safety, while
ensuring patient confidentiality.
- Assess, prepare, record and administer radiopharmaceuticals
according to Nuclear Regulatory Commission and/or state regulations
and departmental policies.
- Perform daily and weekly departmental surveys to ensure
compliance of radiation standards of the Nuclear Regulatory
Commission and/or state regulations.
- Travel to various medical facilities on a mobile
route.Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or
job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American
Red Cross accepted.
- Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer
date required.
- One or more of the following required:
- Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine
Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date
or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine
credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
(ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative
experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of
applicable cumulative job specific experience required.Additional
Preferences Certified Nuc Med Tech (CMNT)PET/CT experienceWhy Join
