Job Description:

We have a contractor opportunity with a Pomeroy client for an onsite IT Support Technician in Novi, MI. This is a 12 month contract with potential to extend or convert to hire in the future.
The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing a single point of ownership for IT customer issues and providing daily VIP and White Glove support to the executive team.
Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to the user devices (Laptops, PC's, printers, mobile devices).
• Provide A/V support to critical meetings.
• Follows procedures in documenting customer issues, troubleshooting steps and resolution in the call tracking tool
• Promotes customer relations in tune with company plans and policies
• Installs and maintains hardware and software
• Works with next level of support for the resolution of issues
• Conveys customers' perspective to project teams responsible for newly implemented products and existing product enhancements.Requirements:
  • 4+ years related professional experience in desktop hardware & software support.
  • Experience working on Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server based devices
  • Responsible for facilitating clear understanding of all business processes, goals, and drivers to effectively define system, process, and training solutions.
  • Understanding in the support to VIPs
  • Installing and maintaining customer equipment and/or software
  • Ability to monitor workload and prioritize call tickets
  • After hours support when required
