Account Executive III - Grand Rapids or Southfield, MIAre you

day-to-day, account management of Aon's relationships with assigned
clients as their primary role. You will lead client service teams
to identify and meet client needs and thereby retain and grow a
profitable book of business. Through service, pricing, consultation
and reporting, you will promote the value Aon delivers to

- Retains and grows Aon's business, cultivating relationships
with senior-most client decision-makers in the client organization
as well as with day-to-day client contacts.
- Leads all aspects of the execution of day-to-day service
activities of the Aon service team.
- Builds, expands, and solidifies relationships with existing
clients at senior levels within the company and leads appropriate
resources to address the client's risk/capital management
needs.
- Actively looks for new business opportunities.
- Develops and analyzes program and coverage options across lines
of business including deductibles, retros, guaranteed cost,
collateral and accruals.
- Draws comparisons / conclusions of the variations of different
programs and communicates to the client to aid in decision
making
- Secures existing business and drives the sale of additional
services and coverages across solution lines.
- Works at a strategic level to cultivate relationships with
clients.
- Identifies and generates new and penetration business across
solution lines. Collaborates with Producers on new business
opportunities.
- Prepares and negotiates fee-based pricing of services, ensuring
account profitability in a value-based approach for the scope of
service and costs associated with the client service
agreement.
- Demonstrates solid understanding of Aon's resources and
capabilities.
- Effectively leverages the Aon network to achieve client risk
objectives.
- Prepares for internal Strategic Account Review meeting and
drives the plan developed for each client.
- Earns at least 2 of the following Badges: Articulating Value
Badge, RFP Rehearsal Coach Badge and Redsheet Facilitator
Badge.
- Utilizes Pricing Council analysts and resources.
- Ensures overall account profitability with a value-based
approach for the scope of service and costs associated with client
service.
- Acts as Account Executive on their own book of business with
sales and book growth goals.
- Stays current on all relevant industry data and is pro-active
in introducing innovative ideas to help clients contemplate risk
management with fresh perspective.Professional Education
- Bachelor's degree, or the equivalent years of experience
- Insurance licensing as required.Experience
- 7-10+ years of appropriate insurance experience
- Possesses an in-depth knowledge of the insurance brokerage
business and the assigned clients' needs as well as all major lines
of business.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Demonstrates technical proficiency and creates innovative
solutions.The salary range for this position is $150,000 -
$225,000. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's
education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal
equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be
adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.This position is
eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to
receive production incentives in addition to base salary. The
amount of any production incentives varies and is subject to the
terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.How we
