Job Description:

The Crossbelt Installation Supervisor role will coordinate daily activities on installation sites in North America, ensuring smooth information flow with project collaborators. This role involves hands-on collaboration to ensure efficient operations, provide technical expertise, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

This role requires 80% travel to customer sites within the Continental US. Hybrid work is available when not on customer site.

  The base pay range for this role is estimated to be$85,000 - $115,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

  Tasks and Qualifications:
  
  This is what you will do in this role:
  
  
  • Responsible for installation quality on the project site .
    
  • Responsible for quality checklists and submittal of Corrective Actions when discrepancies are identified.
    
  • Responsible for on-site safety including, but not limited to, safety audits.
    
  • Provides on-site reporting on schedule and resources to project manager and/or customer
    
  • Provides assistance with training of subcontractors in the installation of Dematic Crossbelt systems.
    
  • Writes concise, clear, and completes trip reports in the time frame required according to Dematic procedures
    
  • Identifies problems as they occur and suggests appropriate steps to tackle them in situations where the problem is not difficult or complex.
    
  • Travel on short notice and spend up to 80% of the time on customer sites across North America.
    
    
    What we are looking for:
    
    
    • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required. We prefer candidates with an Associate's Degree or equivalent experience. Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting electromechanical equipment
      
    • Service experience with circular sorters is preferred.
      
    • OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred
      
    • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull, and ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
      
    • Willingness to work weekends, holidays and off shifts - offer OT compensation.
      
    • Must have knowledge in the use of personal computers, data base functions and communications.
      
    • Understanding personal computer hardware setup and software configuration required.
