Position: Automotive Trim Technician- BaseLocation: Troy, MichiganPay: $17.00 -$21.00 (based on experience)Shift: 1st shift (6:00AM - 2:30PM)DescriptionAs a member of the trim team, an individual is tasked with performing interior and exterior auto part "teardowns" and "build-ups" prior to and after exterior parts are painted in the Paint Shop.Essential job functions:Disassembly and careful organization of interior dash and door components, as well asexterior doors, hood and trimAbility to read assembly guidelines as written by the OEM service engineersPossess beginner to standard level of automotive toolsReassembly of interior components and fit and finish or exterior components such asdoors and trimRecognize the need to ask for assistance if neededEye for inspecting incoming and outgoing vehiclesPossess test drive skills and functionality vehicle testsDocument any additional issues found and inform the Team Leader/Manager in a timelymannerRecognize personal improvement areas and develop strength to achieve personalgrowthMaintain a clean work station and work environmentQualifications:Valid driver's licenseMust be a high energy individual with a strong work ethic and desire to succeedBasic skills with computer operation and applicationsRequires the following skills:Must be able to multi-task while ensuring follow up and execution of required tasksHigh degree of organization and ability to work effectively in a fast paced environmentOral and written communication skills, must be able to communicate effectively via telephone, email and written meansMust be willing to assist peers, teach and help out as well as exude flexibility"Equal Employment Opportunity"#talrootampa
