automotive design.Your RoleThe Production Control and Logistics
Intern will operate in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
which requires flexibility, adaptability, initiative as well as
excellent organization and problem-solving skills. This position
will be located in Troy, MI.Today the Advanced PCL team is an
internal service provider to all surrounding departments. Protocols
for communication, and clear scope of work on who, what, when, and
where needs to be passed to the operations team to aid in
implementation of Flow 4Key job responsibilities for this role
include:Supporting the Advanced PCL team to assist in improving
current business strategy and document processes.
- Deliverable 1 - PCL RASIC chart re-deployment
- Deliverable 2 - Documented Scope of Work (where process is
missing)
- Deliverable 3- MRP SAP parameter overview & metrics to improve
current internal customer service and overall cost and
delivery.Intern will experience world/business problems and how to
solve them. They will actively engage in professional
communication, reporting, and metrics. Intern will learn how to
create and present business case to decision makers on how to
overcome any current obstacles or implement future
improvements.Intern will have a final assessment from the
department gaining feedback and final cornerstone project
presentation to senior leadership.Experience & Qualifications:
- Pursuing degree in Supply Chain, Marketing & Communications, or
Finance
- Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals
- Excellent attention to detail; meticulous and detailed
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and
verbal)
- Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be
extremely effective independentlyNice to have:
- Domain expertise in areas relevant for our business (e.g.
automotive, wire harness, connectors, etc.)
